After Alberto Echagüe's reign as the lead singer of Juan D'Arienzo in 1938-1939, and before (and slightly overlapping) the Hector Mauré -era of 1941-1944, there was a short period of time when D'Arienzo recorded some explosive tangos with relatively unknown singers Carlos Casares and Alberto Reynal.
