45/2026 The impossible milonga challenge? Lucio Demare

I'm obsessed with these songs

I believe I've featured a single milonga tanda from all the main orchestras by now on Tanda of the Week, plus a few from modern orchestras. Only exception being the orchestra of Lucio Demare. Demare recorded a small selection of milongas and candombes, or milongas with heavy candombe influences, and has a really unique style in comparison to basically all the orchestras from the 1940s. These Demare recordings are really rarely played in milongas or used in exhibitions. If you can find any of the latter on YouTube, please share!
