Roberto Caló
Roberto Caló (1913–1985) was an Argentine bandoneón player, composer, and orchestra leader who contributed to the golden age of tango with a refined and expressive style. Brother of Miguel Caló, he led his own orchestra in the 1940s and 1950s, creating elegant, danceable music. Collaborating with singers like Alberto Santillán and Raúl Iriarte, he recorded memorable tangos such as Al compás de un tango. Though less famous than his brother, his music remains appreciated by tango enthusiasts.
