45/2024 - Rodolfo Biagi & Jorge Ortiz Tango Tanda

Here's a great Rodolfo Biagi & Jorge Ortiz tango tanda for almost any moment of the milonga and one that I used to play a lot.

The tanda starts with a very recognizable son "Humillacion" and finishes big with the Federico Domingo composition "Yuyo Verde". The latter was recorded by Federico Domingo with Carlos Vidal as the vocalist in 12th of September 1944. As a testament to it's popularity, the song was recorded three more times between January and February 1945 by Anibal Troilo & Floreal Ruiz, Osvaldo Pugliese & Alberto Morán and Biagi with Ortiz. I think I play all the versions quite evenly.
